No, it doesn’t mean inside out clothing–but maybe the germ of an idea for the future, hmm.  Anyway–the Needham Business Association has asked all the merchants in town to participate in a sidewalk sale this Friday and Saturday, July 30 and 31.  We will have another sidewalk sale next Friday and Saturday, as well!

As you know,  the Closet Exchange stores are always having a sale, as we price everything at 60% to 80% off the original retail price.  We also always have 50% off select items at all our stores!  Just look for the stickers.  The Last Chance store has 70% off as well!   Of course, there will be some special bargains too!!

We recently received a letter from Google telling us that the Closet Exchange was designated a Favorite Place on Google!!  This is so awesome!!

Google gave this award to 1% of the over 28 million businesses in the United States.   According to Google, we are one of the most popular local businesses on Google as measured by how many times people found our business listing and clicked on it for more information.  Google also gave us decals to put on our doors that you can scan with your smart phone camera!  Great!

We also received the Readers Choice Regional Gold Award as the best consignment shop in the region!

When we started this–we never dreamed it would become what it is.  We couldn’t do it without our faithful consignors and wonderful customers.  We are so blessed.  It’s a joy to come to work  and see all of you!

are just a few labels we see who make wonderful summer skirts.  Now that the really hot days are here (do we want to talk about bad hair days?), I remember why I love skirts.  Skirts are cooler than pants or shorts and certainly jeans.  Long or short–you look more comfortable, less rumpled,–and maybe even impervious to heat and high humidity!

Milly, J. Crew, Ann Taylor, Elie Tahari, Seven, Old Navy, Banana Republic and many little boutiques carry a vast assortment of summer skirts–flirty, classic, bohemian–mini, knee-length, or to the ankle.  If the skirt is busy or embellished, remember to keep the top simple and fairly narrow.  If the skirt is simple, you can play with a more elaborate top or one with more fabric.

It’s hot–do you have enough shorts and tops?  We do.  Our three stores are full of great summer things from Gap to Banana Republic to Chico’s to Sara Campbell!

We put at least 200 new pieces on the floors every day–so there is always fresh merchandise.  There are always mark- downs on the floors too.  Why pay full price when you can find such great bargains here in Needham?

in the region!!!  What a happy honor–this is the fifth year in a row for us.  We owe a lot of this to you, our shoppers and consignors.  We also owe as huge “thank you” to our fabulous staff–the women who wait on you and sort, evaluate and price our merchandise. 

“Thank you” too to Needham–the town that is home to our stores, for your continued support.  Most of all, I would like to thank my family.  Their hard work and support made all this possible.

We have gorgeous designer ties at our 906 store if you’ve forgotten to get a goodie for the man in your life!  They retail at about $200.  we sell them for $25.  They are perfect.  Nothing quite as handsome as a man in a tie…

Honor your father.  He’s a special guy–make him a cookie, draw him a card, sit by him for a minute.  They really do need the nurturing we all long for–and it takes so little.  Most of us only get one–treasure him.
