it’s about how you put it together and how you present yourself.  Sometimes a black skirt is basically the same-no matter the label or cost.  What’s important is the cut and the fit . No one can tell if it came from Ann Taylor or Max Mara if the fit is great!

Always pay attention to the small details–flat seams, good fabric, and great fit.  Many women who are fabulous dressers, pay moderate prices for the basics, and then buy  a gorgeous trenchcoat, or a great pair of shoes or a beautiful classic purse. When you spend a lot–it makes more sense if it’s a timeless piece–one you will love forever.  Shop wisely.
